MarketComm President Pens Cooking Columns for Backpacker Magazine

CHARLOTTE, N.C., January 11, 2001 -- MarketComm President Stern Dixon has been hired to pen several cooking columns for Backpacker magazine, the nation~s top resource for true "trekkies."
Dixon will write for the magazine~s Moveable Feast section, which provides gastronomic advice to backpackers and campers.
"I spend a lot of time in planning and executing serious business communication so this is a welcomed respite," Dixon said. "This gives me a chance to combine my cooking skills with my outdoors experience to give the culinarily challenged something to chew on -- besides Ramen noodles and Gorp!"
Dixon~s contributions will begin appearing in the June issue of Backpacker.
